Tribute to the Kinský Family and Costumed Tours

Lešná Castle is open every day except Monday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. The main attractions for visitors include a tour of the historical interiors, which now features a permanent exhibition dedicated to the life stories of the former owners from the noble Kinský family. The roughly hour-long tour offers a number of true gems, starting with a unique painted ceiling, through the original baroque floor, to furniture from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. From Tuesday, July 9th to Sunday, July 14th, you can tour the castle as part of a special event with guides in period costumes. Tours start every hour, except at noon.

Relax in the Castle Park

Regular visitors associate Lešná Castle near Valašské Meziříčí with its renowned English park, which offers a pleasant walk and relaxation in the shade of majestic trees, accompanied by the scent of rare woods during the summer months. It is open every day from 8 AM to 6 PM, with free admission.

What Awaits You This Summer

This week, the popular treasure hunt called Summer Adventure in the Museum will be in full swing, along with the aforementioned costumed tours. From August 9th to 11th, the castle will be filled with beautiful flower arrangements and the charm of the baroque era. This year, you can also look forward to live theater in the historical interiors. On Friday, August 16th, the Brno theater Exulis will perform the legendary story The Man in the Iron Mask. There are four showtimes available: 6 PM, 7 PM, 8 PM, and 9 PM (for information and ticket reservations, call 734 420 009). From Tuesday, August 20th to Friday, August 23rd, there will also be an interactive program for children called Thief Boniface.
