A true travel treat in the form of a talk with the popular group of adventurers Nesmrtelní dědci (“The Immortal Grandpas”), who last year completed a grueling journey from Wallachia to Japan in their vintage Velorex vehicles, will take place on Friday, February 27, at 5:00 p.m. at Kinský Castle in Valašské Meziříčí. TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT.

Four lads from the foothills of the Beskydy Mountains—classic car renovation enthusiasts Jan Kudělka and his son Šimon, together with their friends Tomáš Kyselý and Martin Jiříček—set off at the end of last June from Hodslavice near Nový Jičín. Their ambitious goal was to travel halfway around the world in two Velorex vehicles from the 1950s and 1960s, sparking the enthusiasm of thousands of people who followed their journey on social media.

Nesmrtelní dědci, as they call themselves after their historic machines, ultimately succeeded despite numerous obstacles. Now they are coming to share their story with you in a talk titled To Japan by Velorex.

Come and hear the incredible story of how a group of village lads, traveling in truly unconventional vehicles, managed to take on a three-month adventure that no one had completed before. You can look forward to engaging storytelling full of unbelievable experiences and stunning photographs from their journey.

We look forward to seeing you.
