This year’s first journey back in time to the historic streets of the town will take place at Kinský Chateau on Saturday, March 14 at 4 p.m., where we will revisit the historical appearance of Mostní Street. As usual, our guide will be Petr Kubeša, a collector of historical photographs.

WHAT AWAITS YOU

This popular series of talks is organized by the Museum of the Valašsko Region in cooperation with the administrators of the Facebook group Valašské Meziříčí Through the Lens of Time.

This time, as we explore historical photographs and memories of eyewitnesses, we will focus on a street that has survived to the present day in an almost unchanged form. You can look forward to stories about the town walls, the brewery that gave the street its name during one period of history, and the dozens of tradespeople who lived and worked on this strategic street that has, since time immemorial, connected Meziříčí with neighboring Krásno.
