As every year, you can soon diversify your holiday visit to the branches of the Muzeum of Moravian Wallachia Region with a popular treasure hunt game called Summer Adventures in the Museum. Enjoy fun together with the family, looking for clues hidden in exhibitions, expositions and other visitor areas. The game runs in all our 4 objects, including the Vsetín Observatory. After finding the treasure in the first of the objects, you will be able to search for the others for half the entrance fee.
Kinský castle in Valašské Meziříčí The newly renovated chateau offers not only a new exhibition and an elegant interior with a café, but also an exhibition dedicated to fruit drying. The path to the treasure zigzags between the crosses, the brandy cups, past the ancient books through the conservatory, and ends at the key to the chest. The castle is open daily except Mondays from 09:00 to 17:00.
Lešná castle near Valašské Meziříčí A thorough tour of the historic rooms awaits small and large treasure hunters in the Lešná castle. The search continues in the exhibition of historic prams and leads to the famous English park. It is with him that the contents of the locked chest are connected. Vsetín observatory
Tasks in meteorology, cosmonautics and especially astronomy await you at the Vsetín Observatory. During their filling, you will walk through the observatory, including a dome with binoculars, as well as an outdoor area with a unique model of the solar system or an interactive sundial. By successfully solving the questions, you will get a numeric code to open the treasure safe. The observatory is open on weekdays from 9:00 to 15:00.
Vsetín castle
A holiday game about treasure will take you through the entire Vsetín castle. You will get to the knight's playroom in the Templar cellar and to the view from the castle tower. On the way up you can admire live fish from the Bečva River Aquarium and you will also meet the popular bear-rebel Míša from Brodská. And in the end, a reward awaits you. The castle is open daily except Mondays from 09:00 to 17:00.
ADMISSION The visitor will receive a competition card when purchasing an entrance fee for a tour of the entire building in the first branch of the museum visited. In other buildings, upon its presentation, he will receive a 50% discount on the regular entrance fee determined for the age of the participant in the game. Please note that the discount cannot be applied when purchasing a family ticket.
